John Cabot University
Problem:
Design a logo for John Cabot University's Alumni Association and the 1972 Society, keeping their prestigious image and their navy blue and white color scheme. John Cabot University is a beautiful college in Rome, Italy.

Solution:
Integrate the unique arch structure of the Tiber River bridge (across from John Cabot University’s Tiber Campus) into the Alumni Association logo. This was my inspiration for my Alumni Associate logo. The letter “A” that mimics and represents bridge’s arch, which in turn, connects the University’s alumni to the world in their future. The font chosen was Baskerville, to update John Cabot University’s previous logo font.
Solution:
My idea for the 1972 Society logo derives from John Cabot University being well known for educating students from all over the world. Whether they are from Italy, international students, visiting (Study Abroad) or degree seeking, they all share a common goal and home, John Cabot University. Ever since John Cabot University was founded, it has brought students of different cultures and backgrounds from all over the world. The
“7” and “2” in the logo sit on top of a waving flag that represents student and alumni coming together as one entity (see below).
